Who you're trusting

Run by a nurse and an attorney.

Best Care isn't a franchise or a call center. It's owned and run by the same family that started it in 1980. Jacque has decades of experience working in home health and navigating the difficult health care industry. Combine that with Marc's experience navigating contracts and fighting for his clients, and you can see why we're so successful at providing the Best Care for you and your loved ones.

Long-term care insurance

Have a long-term care policy? It often covers live-in and in-home care. We file the claim for you and handle the paperwork, so you use every benefit you're owed.

Private pay

No policy? Private-pay home care in your area averages about $30 an hour, billed simply — no long-term contracts and no hidden fees.

One honest note: Best Care is a private nursing registry, so we're unable to accept Medicare or Medicaid.

Long-term care insurance

Have a policy? We handle the whole claim — free.

Most families don't realize their long-term care policy covers in-home care. We read the policy, file the claim, and manage it — so you use every benefit you've already paid for.

1

Free policy review

By phone, Zoom, or FaceTime, we read your policy and tell you exactly what it covers.

2

We file your claim

Our team — backed by an attorney — files and manages all the paperwork, start to finish.

3

Zero out-of-pocket

Once you're past your policy's elimination period, covered care costs you nothing out of pocket.

Good questions

Answers before you call.

How many hours a week will I need?
Anywhere from a few hours a day to around-the-clock — there's no minimum. We match the schedule to your family's needs and adjust as they change.
Can I use an insurance policy to pay for care?
Your health insurance will not cover the cost alone. You would need to specifically have “Long-Term Care” insurance. Most long-term care policies are accepted, usually with a signed assignment of benefits — and we file the claim for you; standard health insurance will not cover this. Medicare also doesn't cover everyday daily-living assistance. If you don't have a Long-Term Care insurance plan, you will likely need to pay out-of-pocket, meaning the funds come from you personally.
When can care start?
Often the same day. Once the intake forms are completed, we can usually refer a caregiver right away.
What are the rates?
Rates depend on the level of care and the caregiver. Private-pay home care in our area averages about $30 an hour — call us for a quote specific to your situation.
What if I'm not satisfied with my caregiver?
Just tell us, and we'll look for a better match. Our compatible-caregiver guarantee means you're never stuck with someone who isn't the right fit.
What's the difference between Long-Term Care, Medicare and private-duty care?
Private duty covers everyday help with daily living, paid privately by you directly or through long-term care insurance — an additional plan that's different from your regular health insurance. Medicare focuses on short-term skilled and rehabilitative care and doesn't cover most daily-living assistance. To work with Best Care, you'll either need a long-term care insurance plan or to pay privately out of your own pocket.
What makes Best Care different?
46 years in business, a Registered Nurse co-owner who personally manages every client, a concierge program, and caregivers we screen and oversee ourselves.
